THE TEAM
A little back story
Hi, we're Lauren and Jessie, the founders of WESO!
Even though we were once strangers, we quickly bonded over our shared interest in connecting with peers and our passion for the details and impact of the workplace industry. Back in December 2023, we were both active in an employee experience networking Slack channel and happened to bump into each other while seeking more workplace content and discussions. After exchanging a few direct messages, we realized that other workplace leaders might have similar interests. This led us to hop on a Zoom call… and the rest is history!
Our aim is to bring together workplace leaders from the industry to network and build a community. We are all facing challenges and we know there is value in connecting with peers from different organizations to brainstorm, provide support, and problem-solve together. We are enthusiastic about establishing this community and have ambitious plans for its growth!

Jessie is passionate about creating dynamic and effective work environments that enhance the overall employee experience. Currently a consultant at Resource, she serves as a fractional real estate leader, expanding company capabilities when & where they need it. Before that, she spent 9 years at Stitch Fix, scaling the workplace and employee experience functions.Outside of work, she can be found walking her dog Archie around the Marina or at SFO, expertly navigating TSA pre-check.

Lauren is passionate about bringing it all together, be it the office, workplace programs, employee experience, or people. Finding connection points and not working in a silo bring her joy. She has spent the last 17 years leading workplace (and sometimes Security, EHS, and IT) at companies like Peloton, DoorDash, Reddit, and Twitch.Outside of work she looks for the best playgrounds and croissants with her daughter and husband.
